Mendeecees’ lawyer filed paperwork on July 21 to start the process of an appeal of Mendeecee’s federal prison sentence for running a drug distribution organization.
His lawyers are asking an appellate court to vacate his sentence because they believe he was sentenced under expired guidelines which caused a prison sentence longer than what should have been applied. Instead, they ask that Mendeecee be sentenced under the current guidelines, which would reduce his sentence by up to 3.5 years.
