Gucci Mane Says Prison Life Changed Him

Gucci Jailhouse Letter

Gucci Mane has taken time to pen an open letter from prison. In it, the Trap House lyricist claims, not only has he changed his diet for the best, but being incarcerated has turned him into a better man.

Here’s what Gucci wrote from behind bars:

“My idea is to take my career to the next level. I am planning to take my music to a higher level and use the attention and influence to sell movies, books, clothing and be a living testimony to all people showing that you can start from humble beginnings and transcend to something greater.

It feels great to see my plan take root and begin to blossom even though I’m physically incarcerated but spiritually and mentally I’m free as ever. I enjoy working out molding my body and I look forward to changing my diet for the better because I realize to get to the status I crave I must make a life-change which is permanent not a quick-fix.”

  1. Did it change him into a gay man? He changed his diet for the best? I thought you could only eat balogna sandwiches on white processed bread in there. If he has found something more ‘nutritious’ to eat … then good for him.

    • Why did prison and loosing your freedom make you realize this? Why is it that some people have too loose everything before they appreciate what they have? He I sincerely don’t feel ANY SYMPATHY for at all! Try working a regular 9 to 5 in a job that doesn’t allow you to do what you love with average wage! Grateful.com is what most people are.   18. I’ve always felt that if someone keeps going back to jail, there’s something in there they like. Gucci is where he feels most comfortable. Bet he’s treated like royalty in there. Booty gettin thrown at him left, right and center. He’s in his element.

    • Some dudes just love the experience, I can’t call it. He wanted to be “Inside Inside” more or less. Freedom is too sacred to me, never in my life would i compromise time for the foolishness.
