   I’m not a Nick Cannon hater like most folks but him playing Richard Pryor would’ve been an outrage in my book.

For one thing, Mike is a ‘Hood dude for real, just like Pryor was, and neither Nick Cannon nor Marlon Wayans would’ve been right for the role, something Mike himself talked about in a ‘Breakfast Club’ interview a while back. And like others have said, Oprah’s involvement is disconcerting.

5. Just like hollywood ruined the James Brown movie, they will use this movie to ruin the legacy of Richard Pryor. I told you guys before, hollywood is making these movies for a reason; to destroy, rewrite and profit off of our own history. The two sambos Lee Daniels and Oprah have no problems damaging one of our icon’s legacy for money. This is another movie I won’t see!
