H&M Closes All South African Stores Amid Protests

hm closes south african stores

After their South African stores were destroyed following their ad showing a black boy wearing a “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle” sweatshirt, H&M has decided to close all of its stores in the country.

The brand has 17 stores throughout the country, and they’ve all been temporarily closed while the company “investigates” how the racist coolest monkey sweater was approved in the first place.

  1. Those South Africans can’t afford the clothes anyway, shouldn’t be there in the 1st place.

    • Why would the stor be all over the country if they couldn’t afford it? You realize that South Africa is one of the richest countries in the world right? Only fucked up part is the history of colonial apartheid which created ill distribution… American blacks are still asleep , kiss up to the Neanderthals as if they were the best thing in our lives since slice bread.

  2. Don’t be fooled some store’s were open not all plus our own people were still shopping up a storm. Shocking!!!
