Basketball Wives‘ resident loose cannon, Jackie Christie wants to clear up “lies and propaganda” about her strained relationship with daughter, Ta’kari Christie Lee.
The mother/daughter dynamic between Jackie and Ta’kari was exposed on social media a few years ago. Ta’kari has always maintained her mother essentially banished her from the family because she has a dark complexion.
Jackie has two daughters — Chantel Christie, who is very fair-skinned — and Ta’kari, who is dark-skinned. On the VH1 reality show, Jackie seemingly worships the ground Chantel walks on. However, viewers don’t see Ta’kari.
One issue Ta’kari exposed centers around her asking the public for donations after her son suffered burns because she wasn’t comfortable asking her mother for help. Of course, the fact that Jackie‘s co-star Evelyn Lozada made a generous contribution has been a source of drama on this season of the reality show.
As a result, Jackie has been blasted by fans on social media. She’s now speaking out in an Instagram post — calling all the speculation, “Lies and propaganda.” She wrote,
Ta’kari wasted no time jumping into Jackie‘s comments to keep her from playing the victim.
“Lies and propaganda slander and extortion…all
because I didn’t ask her for help…with valid reason!!!”
Takari wrote in Jackie’s comments.
Ta’kari asserts that during her time of need, she hadn’t spoken to her mother in over 7 months because Jackie ignored all her attempts to make contact.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann really wanted her son Kash to meet John Legend, so she offered up her 20-year-old daughter’s services in exchange for a meet and greet!
It all went down on Twitter when the Real Housewives of Atlanta star tweeted John’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, and asked her who Brielle had to “blow” to meet the singer.

During the last days of Ike, whom I spent much time with just before his passing, Ike spoke often of how his portrayal by Fishburne had broke him. Broke him beyond which he thought he had ever fixed.

At 1:02 she tells the trooper (who is trying his best not to look), “I am not tripping. I am a f@$&#!g ratchet.”
Montana failed the roadside tests and blew a 0.18 – more than twice the legal limit and was arrested for DUI. After Montana’s short porn career embarrassed her father she moved to Florida and turned to stripping and exotic dancing. In an interview with Gayle King, Serena Williams spoke about how she knew she would get engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, but she’s not so sure about marriage!
“I never felt pressure to get married, and I can’t say I’m the marrying type. I love my life. I love my freedom. I hear that kind of changes. I love my career, and I didn’t want anything to interfere with that. … When [Ohanian] proposed, I was almost angry. Not almost — I was angry because it was right in the middle of my training season and I thought, ‘I have to win the Australian Open.’ … I really wanted to pass Steffi Graf’s record.”
Now that she’s pregnant, she’s going to take it easy, but she plans to return to the tennis court.
“I definitely plan on coming back — I’m not done yet. My story isn’t over. I’m really inspired by my sister [Venus], who’s a year older than me. If she’s still playing, then I know I can play. This is just a new part of my life. My baby is going to be in the stands, hopefully cheering for me and not crying too much.”
