Looks like the bill collectors are having a hard time getting Roxanne Avent-Taylor to show up.
Hollywood Street King has uncovered Los Angeles court records showing a judge ordered a bench warrant with bail set at $12,500 for producer Roxanne Taylor, aka Roxanne Avent and Roxanne Avent-Taylor, after she failed to appear for a court-ordered judgment debtor examination.
And this wasn’t some “I never got the paperwork” situation.
Court records show Roxanne was personally served on June 30, 2026, with an order requiring her to appear August 11 and answer questions about her money and property. The order specifically warned that failure to appear without paying the judgment could result in a bench warrant for her arrest.
When August 11 rolled around, plaintiff A Big Trailer Inc. showed up.
Roxanne didn’t.
The court’s minute order states there was “no appearance by or for the judgment debtor” and confirms Taylor failed to appear. Commissioner Pamela A. Davis ordered the bench warrant, set bail at $12,500, and held the warrant until Taylor’s rescheduled October 5 hearing.
The mess stems from a small claims case originally seeking $6,300 over allegedly unpaid work involving television pitch materials. A Big Trailer later obtained judgment, and an April writ of execution showed $6,505 due, with additional interest accumulating.

The firm obtained a $196,325.92 arbitration award against Deon Taylor, Roxanne Avent-Taylor and Hidden Empire Holdings after claiming it was owed more than $157K in unpaid legal bills.
According to the arbitration record, the Taylors and their company didn’t respond to the claim, filed no opposition and didn’t participate in the arbitration.
Now we’ve got another creditor chasing money, another court proceeding, and this time a judge ordering a $12,500 bench warrant after Roxanne failed to appear despite personal service.
