Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Stevie J insisted he didn’t get his azz beat at a nightclub in North Carolina, but now we have video proof that says otherwise!

Apparently, some guys blamed Stevie for getting them kicked out of Charlotte’s Empire Lounge. They waited outside until Stevie left, and ran up on him!

The video shows Stevie ducking for cover as he gets swarmed and eventually falls to the ground. He allegedly was left with a gash on his head following the attack.

Katt Williams isn’t letting up on his beef with Kevin Hart. Just days after he called Kevin a puppet who took it up the azz to get movie roles, now Katt is challenging his fellow comedian to a battle!

In a video recording, Katt addresses everything regarding his recent arrest, letting it be known he hit the store clerk after the man called him a nicca!

Katt also put the drug rumors to rest, and called out Big Tigger for saying Katt was on that stuff. Katt says he doesn’t touch drugs, and he has never been arrested for any drug-related charges.

At the end of the video message, Katt then battles Kevin to a $5 million comedy battle in Philly.

Days after the Oscars, Tyrese is clapping back at Chris Rock for the “tasteless joke” he made during his opening monologue. Chris spoke on everything from the Oscars lacking diversity to black people needing to focus their energy on other issues going on in the world. But he really struck a nerve when he called out Jada Pinkett for calling for a boycott after Will Smith was snubbed in the nominations.

In an Instagram video and post, Tyrese claims he didn’t watch the telecast, but he heard what Chris had to say through the grapevine. In case you missed it, Chris said, “Jada got mad, Jada says she’s not coming, protesting, I’m like – doesn’t she have a TV show? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited.”

Jay Z launched Tidal as a way for artists, writers, and producers to take higher royalty payments for their music. Well, it looks like Hov was full of shit, because Tidal is now being sued in a $5 million class-action lawsuit for stiffin’ artists of the money that they’re owed!

Filed by Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele​ from the band American Dollar, the lawsuit claims Tidal streamed 116 of the band’s copyrighted songs without paying them any royalties. But not only that, they claim Tidal used bogus numbers when it came to making payments, and even undercut some artists by as much as 35%.

Tidal doesn’t give artists or the public the stats on the total number of streams. This is how Jay and his crew have been able to be greedy behind closed doors!

The band claims they never received a penny from their royalty payments, and they want Hov to pay up!

Tidal sounds like it’s a sinking ship at this point. Even though Kanye’s T.L.O.P. album provided a boost in subscribers, it seems like Jay is ready to dump the streaming platform – he has been trying to sell it to Samsung for the past four months! Too bad he’ll still be on the hook for this $5 million lawsuit.

But not only that, Katt calls Kevin a puppet. He tells the crowd don’t be mad at Kevin, be mad at the people pulling his strings.

French Montana went on The Breakfast Club to speak about the state of Hip Hop, and he didn’t hold back when it came to talking about the industry’s agenda when it comes to the rap game.

First, French was asked why he thought Kendrick sells more albums than street rappers.

“Because they position him like how they did at the Grammys…as the new music. It’s not that it’s not the right thing to do, but…the whole thing was like ‘Kendrick night’,” ~ French Montana

Charlamagne tried to come to Kendrick’s defense, but eventually, he admitted he’s not bumpin’ Kendrick’s new album…and neither is French!

“That album don’t sound like nothing that’s out…the whole hip hop game don’t sound like that. He took that one step to the left…They put him on that platform so they can switch music toward that direction,” ~ French Montana
