Kandi Burruss is an entrepreneur. Not only does she write songs, sing, and have a sex toy line, but she recently opened a restaurant. But according to her former employee, Johnnie Winston, Kandi’s been stealing his ideas for years.

He’s currently suing Kandi for unpaid overtime, but he’s also asserting that he came up with an idea to open a restaurant. Todd and Kandi moved forward with idea and cut Johnnie out.

Kandi talked to Bravo and said it’s simply not true.

“Johnnie did not give me the idea to do the Old Lady Gang restaurant. Todd had tried to buy a restaurant facility on two separate occasions years ago, but I told him to wait because I didn’t think it was the right time. The theme of our restaurant is based around my mom and aunts. Not sure how Johnnie is saying we took this from him?”

Johnnie is also taking credit for Kandi’s play, “A Mother’s Love.” Johnnie says it was his idea and he thought she should take it on the road. Kandi maintained it was her idea, based on her life story.

“He also said that we took the theme for our play from him. That is false. My play A Mother’s Love is about my life that you saw on the show a few seasons ago when my mom and Todd weren’t getting along.”

Kandi didn’t know the extent of Phaedra Parks’ involvement in the lawsuit until after the season aired. Kandi wasn’t surprised that Phaedra stabbed her in the back by going with Johnnie to see a lawyer.

“She just wanted to do the snake move of having her friend represent him so that she can pretend she doesn’t have anything to do with it. Watching that whole meeting was a mess to me.”

Kandi said that until this season, she never had a problem with Johnnie. Now she feels like he’s teaming up with Phaedra to get money.

“It’s sad to see two people that I once was cool with sit there and plot to try and figure out a way to get money out of me. Well, one wants money and the other wants revenge I guess. Oh well! Y’all go ahead and hate while I be great.”

It appears that ever since Caitlyn Jenner transitioned from Bruce, the love from the Kardashians has been scarce.

In the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe and Caitlyn have a sit down to discuss their relationship. According to Khloe, prior to Caitlyn’s transition, she and her stepfather had been close for 24+ years. Now things are obviously different and they want to get to the bottom of it.

“I just really feel like over the last year-and-a-half we certainly have grown apart,” Jenner says. “Day after day, after month after month, nobody calls, nobody checks in. Just, ‘Hey, how are you doing?’”

A tearful Caitlyn continued,“You can’t help but sit there and think, ‘OK, is it because I transitioned? They don’t like me anymore?’ I want to know what I did wrong, what I didn’t do wrong, what I did right, and move forward.”

“I don’t necessarily want to say you did anything wrong,” Khloe replied. “In this family, we deal with things very quickly. We don’t have time to kind of process a lot of things because we’re always on to the next. For me, at the time, I wasn’t at a place in my life where I could really invest in new relationships. It was very hard for me to experience a lot of new things so quickly and still feel like I had to protect my mom and certain things that were happening where I felt like they might not have been the most positive.”

According to Khloe, she had too much going on in her life at the moment to deal with Bruce’s transition and it wasn’t her fight.

Bill Cosby just protected his pocketbook in a big way, after his insurance company agreed to foot the bill in 3 of his sexual assault cases.

Cosby’s insurance company, AIG, had initially said it would not pay his costs or any civil judgment, on grounds the policy excluded “sexual molestation, misconduct or harassment.”

A judge ruled AIG did indeed have a duty to defend Cosby, which apparently triggered the settlement. The insurance company has agreed to cover his costs in civil cases filed by 3 women — Tamara Green, Therese Serignese and Linda Traitz.

AIG agreed to reimburse Cosby $675,000 for attorneys fees and costs he’s already incurred, and it appears they will cover future costs as well.

As for AIG’s obligation to pay any judgment the women may eventually get against Cosby, it appears that issue will have to wait until a jury actually rules against the comedian.

DJ Khaled named his newborn son Asahd as the executive producer of the upcoming Grateful album. So in recent tongue-in-cheek Snapchat videos, Khaled questioned the baby if vocals from Drake, for a potential record, had arrived yet.

Stephen Belafonte has broken his silence, telling TMZ … Mel B’s domestic violence allegations are “outrageous and unfounded.”

Belafonte’s lawyers say, “It’s a shame that Ms. Brown elected not to proceed in a respectful and amicable fashion in this very private matter. In due course, Mr. Belafonte will be filing his response to the outrageous and unfounded allegations made by Ms. Brown, which allegations he vehemently denies.”

The statement goes on, “When the Court determines the truth, it will become clear that this entire charade was nothing more than a smear campaign intended to cover up Ms. Brown’s own conduct during the marriage in light of her current involvement with a family television show, and in an effort to unfairly gain  leverage both financially and with respect to custody of the children.”

The lawyers go on … “When the degree to which Ms. Brown has gone to create a false depiction of her marriage to Mr. Belafonte is uncovered, real victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse will be understandably offended, angry and upset.”

“Mr. Belafonte is confident that the truth will come out when he has his day in court at which time he looks forward to being reunited with his children,” adding, “What matters most to Mr. Belafonte is the safety and well-being of his daughters and step-daughters.”

Sheree Whitfield is back in court! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star filed a lawsuit against her insurance company for “declaratory” judgment.

The complaint was filed at Superior Court of Fulton County against Central Mutual Insurance Company and claims the damages of her Chateau Sheree were unfairly appraised by the insurance company.

Sheree claims contractors were negligent and created “mold and decay,” in her beloved Chateau Sheree.

The complaint alleges, that around the end of 2013 — contractors completed drywall work and stopped working until after the New Year when the house was only 85% finished.

By January 2014, cold weather caused the second floor water line fixture to freeze and break, releasing water across the second level and filling throughout the home and into the basement. Whitfield made an insurance claim with Central Mutual Insurance. The home remained in a wet condition for three weeks.

According to Radar Online, Sheree’s appraiser and the insurance company’s appraiser of the damages were unable to reach an equitable determination, as Whitfield claimed the Umpire hired “failed/refused” to evaluate the submitted damages by Plaintiff’s appraiser as anticipated by the policy.

“The Umpire wrongfully became involved throughout the appraisal process instead of dealing with only ‘differences’ as required by the policy,” the complaint read. “These acts resulted in an unfair conclusion to the appraisal as to the amount of the loss.”

The reality diva wants $279,940.56 and a jury trial.

Central Mutual has responded to Sheree’s complaint, they claim “an impartial Umpire and an appraiser” reached the award and that the appraisal award was untimely filed. They claim to have already paid Whitfield $359,156.20 and ask the case be dismissed.

This episode made me cry so much. Tamar need to watch her tongue, its not what she say, its how she says and do stuff, its full of hatred, she is one of them straight up chicks, she cant help it, that’s her personality, just remember, don’t treat your sisters like that.
