Lil Boosie Freed From Prison About 10-Years Early!

Lil Boosie a Free Man

“His release comes on the heels of an Atlantic Records spokesperson verifying Hatch would appear at a press conference March 10.”

Lil Boosie’s reportedly landed a ‘get out of jail’ card. The 31-year-old Baton Rouge rapper — whose real name is Torrence Hatch — was released from ‘Angola’ prison just after 7PM EST last night, March, 5 2014. That’s according to the Louisiana Department of Corrections. Boosie is now expected to be heard during a press conference scheduled for Monday (March 10th).

“He will absolutely be there,” said a representative with Atlantic Records. “He’ll be speaking to the press for the first time … after his release.”

This news comes as a shocker to many. Know why? Back in 2011… a judge added eight-years to Boosie’s four-year 2009 court-ordered jail sentence. That’s after Boosie pleaded guilty to “attempting to smuggle drugs into prison.”

“In May 2012, Hatch avoided more time when a jury acquitted him in the 2009 murder of Terry Boyd. Michael “Marlo Mike” Louding was sentenced to life without parole July 9 for the Boyd slaying.”

Here’s what DOC spokesperson Pam LaBorde told NOLA:

“Hatch was sent to a West Feliciana Sheriff’s Department facility to meet his lawyer and at least one other person. Hatch will remain under parole and probation for some time. Terms of that supervision will be verified during a parole intake within 48 hours and at a probationary hearing in front of a judge.

Hatch’s parole and probation restrictions could include a stipulation that he be required to ask permission to leave the state, or that he not be allowed to leave Louisiana at all, but it’s simply too early to tell the specifics of those restrictions.”

    • My thoughts. Doesn’t he look lost and scared in the eyes? Then did you see the video of his daughter acting hood and she look about maybe 4,or 5!!

  1. I doubt he had to worry much about that white devil while he was at The Farm. He was too busy watching out for Ray Ray and Big Money.

  2. I’m from B.R. and I’m sick of hearing about Lil Boosie. I’m 30 and every since I can remember he’s been getting into trouble. he went to school with some of my cousin and as far as I know he’s always been a hardhead. I pray that he get himself together. he already has 2 strikes against him and that being Black and a male in Louisiana

    • Lol…I Saw an interview with him right before he went to jail. This dude has gotten into all kinds of f*ckery and niggerdom (Niggerdon is simply a word that I use to say ignorant shit, because the word nigger means Ignorant and for me has nothing to do with race) now he is about to go to jail, after he maks the conscious decision to do a bunch of dumb shit. Now what made me realize this dude is an ignorant f*ck.is that once he was asked about his friends and family and how they felt about him goin to jail. He proceeded to talk about all his friends that told him to keep his head up. He said everybody telling him to keep his head up can suck his dick, because he felt like it was disrespectful for them to say that because he was song the time and not them. This dude is dumber than most…. I guess they told him to do shit that would land hisnass behind bars too..huh lil Poosie and yes I spelled it that way on purpose

      • Well good I hope they don’t bother to say a word to him now either.
Doesn’t pay to be nice or care about someone like that.

  3. it’s a shame that Louisiana has produce some good rap artist but look where most of them are at now.

    • Louisinann have zero artist that are worth listening to hip hop needs to come back to NYC.

      • Louisiana got much talent. No Limit Records and Cash Money produced so many legends Juvenile, BG, Mystikal, Mia X, C Murder, Soulja Slim, Mac, etc. Check for up and coming artist August Alsina and the legendary Max Minelli putting it down for Baton Rouge before Boosie and Webbie were discovered. New York artist have to get out there and grind and stop waiting on the labels to make it happen. Master P sold records out of his trunk. P is a Hustler. He dropped an album from No Limits artist back to back.

  4. The guard facial expression looks like, “Yeah…youd be back in here soon boy.”

    • Louisiana Prison DR1…the same one where C murder was in……not the African Angola baby……

  5. that Boosie Baby is hard as hell and he look worse/meaner than when he started in he look like a killer for reals now.

  6. A Free Blackman…For How Long? I’m happy that a blackman is out The Cage, but, has his mental really changed? Intellectual Warfare…The Real Conflict!

  7. Boosie wasn’t shit musically before he went to jail so after a 5 years hiatus,he’s all of a sudden suppose to rule the rap game now?Perhaps,he needs to talk to Mystical and Shyne.

  8. ti tupac and pimp c were the only one who came out after a long bid interuotted their career and came with a venegance. everyone else lost it. we shall see.

    • Boosie will make a great comeback. Greater than ever. The streets love Boosie and so many artist lined up to work with him. Trill Ent mainly Boosie and Webbie are underground superstars along with Gucci Mane. They sell out back to back in the southern market especially Jackson, Ms, Memphis, TN, Birmingham, AL, South Georgia (Columbus, Macon, Lagrange, Albany, etc) South Carolina. They never get enough of Boosie. He can do a show in January and sell out come back in March and have the same turn out.

      • Boosie is the most over hyped, overrated rapper I’ve ever known because in reality,he’s sold no records or have any hits.Webbie had a hit record”Gimme DAT” and receive a Lukewarm response. After a huge layoff, how much time left in the rap game do you actually believe this guy has?

  9. Great post. I was checking constantly this blog and I am impressed!
Extremely helpful info particularly the last part 🙂 I care for such
information much. I was seeking this particular information for a long time.

Thank you and best of luck.

  10. So does this mean that people are done with all that “free lil Boosie” bullshit!

  11. Lil boo boo u better stay low son you dimed out a few folk and you owe who ever got u out you have a lot to think about

  12. I’m not with seeing any man or woman locked up,but what about the people who boosie had others touch because he was to Pu$$y to do it himself.I guess, they’re long forgotten about just because he’s a rapper, right?Because of those actions alone Boosie will never have any good luck or success for being complicit it the downfall of his own brothers. Mark My Words!!!

  13. The difference is Boosie fans are young. Before he went to prison a bulk of his fan base were the teen and preteens. After 5 yrs of being released from prison these people are now 20, 21, etc. Which are still gonna support his shows, buy albums, etc. T.I. and Pimp C fans were alredy in their 20’s whn they went in so when they got out…you know the rest

  14. My spouse and I stumbled over here from a different paye and thought I should check things out.
I like what I see so now i am following you.
Look forward to looking into your web page repeatedly.
