Keith Wilder of Heatwave Dead at 65

Keith Wilder, the lead singer of the legendary ’70s funk band Heatwave, has died at the age of 65.

Keith was reportedly battling serious health problems and died in his sleep on Sunday, according to his cousin and Heatwave bandmate, Billy Jones.

Keith brought us some of the best hits, including “Always and Forever” and “Boogie Nights.”

  1. That was the song played at all the house parties when the party was winding down. Everybody grabbled their boo and the slow dance part of the evening began.
