Barkley Gives $1 Million to Black Startups, But ‘No Weave Shops!’

charles barkley black women business no hair salons

As a “thank you” to black women who went to the polls to vote for Doug Jones in Alabama, Charles Barkley announced he would pledge $1 million for black women in the state to fund their startup businesses.

But there’s one catch: He won’t be giving his money to any black woman who starts a hair salon, restaurant, or a weave shop!

Is he out of line?
